Tech Note: Richard Brown Joins Confluent Medical Technologies As Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance & Regulatory

(Scottsdale, AZ)- Confluent Medical Technologies is pleased to announce the Richard (Rich) Brown has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs.

Richard comes to Confluent with over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Throughout his career Rich has led multi-cultural, multi-disciplined teams through many challenging regulatory and quality projects. Prior to his role here at Confluent, Rich worked across the healthcare industry in global companies where he’s held key leadership roles with GE Healthcare, Hospira, Molex and Vyaire Medical. He earned his BA in Biology from North Central College and a MBA from Roosevelt University.

Confluent has been experiencing strong and consistent growth over the last few years and just recently announced a new 67,000 sq. ft. expansion at their Costa Rica manufacturing site to accommodate the increase in customer demand for specialized medical devices utilizing Nitinol components and complex catheters. Rich will be leading this growth and scaling of the team and systems for the Quality and Regulatory department.
